We were BLESSED to have the Sebo Caraci Shaun Marobela Johannesburg EXPERIENCE! 1st we met & got to know Sebo, discussed designs, selected fabrics and then we were off to Kick It!! We went to one of the Arts Districts The Maboneng Precinct and ended the day at a wonderful rooftop bar enjoying the sunset! My outfits are going to be hot! I highly recommend this Designer and Experience!

My boyfriend and I are so happy with the pieces that were made by Caraci! I had a skirt and kimono made and he had a bomber jacket and shorts made. We also had a blast exploring Johannesburg with some amazing interns! The photo shoot at the end topped this experience off as we overlooked JoBurg in our fabulous new clothing! Highly recommend Caraci clothing and the Caraci experience to any and all travelers near and far!

I can't sing Sebo's praises enough, both as a person and as a tailor - an expert in his field. We had Caraci clothing make the groom/groomsmen pants for our Wedding Day, using a gorgeous Three Cats Shweshwe fabric (a nod to our Eastern Cape roots). Every single person I showed the pants to, could not believe the attention to detail and precision that went into every pair - not a flaw to be found in Sebo's handiwork. Thank you for giving us something so awesome and different, and for making my husband and his friends feel so comfortable and 'themselves' on our Big Day. Sebo managed to make 6 pairs of pants (and one mini version) having never met any of the guys - they all sent their measurements to him from all over the world (L.A, London, other parts of SA etc) and he somehow managed to make them work! Caraci’s clothing is as beautiful and unique as the owner Sebo. He was a wonderful local host who showed me a side of Joberg I wouldn’t have gotten to see without him. He was positive, encouraging and creative. I ended up buying many beautiful items, and can’t wait to wear them all the time.

We went as a group of 5 and loved every minute of it. Sebo is such a positive energy and the Caraci Experience is one of my favorite South Africa experiences. It is a wonderful way to get to know a part of the city, most would not go to. The choosing of a fabric, learning more about producing a garment and in the end having your very own piece is super engaging and fun (also the lunch is super nice!). Besides the pieces being gorgeous, I will always carry the wonderful memories of the day with me. If you are in Joburg and want to do something fun and meaningful while meeting the fab person that Sebo is, I highly recommend doing the Caraci Experience.

I have done experiences around the world. I know a good host and a GREAT experience within seconds. Cebo is a talented, loving, creative genius. I did his Airbnb experience on my first day off in Johannesburg. I went alone as a woman less than 24 hrs after landing in Johannesburg. I felt so safe on my tour. Honestly it felt like I was reconnecting with a best friend… that’s how warm and inviting Cebo is. I love supporting local businesses and I was sooo in love with the experience that I made both a kimono and a jacket. I cannot wait to go back and make more. This experience is perfect for fashionistas, sustainable travellers, and foodies! While my goods were being made we went to Maboneng for a delicious local meal that rocked my world. Do this experience and get your Caraci original next time you’re in Johannesburg.
